Is GiftSong worth it?
GiftSong is worth it when you want speed and control. According to its homepage, a 60-second sample lands in under 5 minutes, you pick genre, voice and language, and a sharing page comes with the $34.99 song. Pro costs $46.99 a month for 3 songs, which works out to as low as $15.66 each on its own page, and Platinum costs $219.99 a year. Trustpilot rates GiftSong 4.7 from 186 reviews, and 88% are five-star. Buyers who want one finished song for one person pay more per song and do more of the work, since the MP3 adds from $9. Is GiftSong legit?
Yes. GiftSong (giftsong.ai) is a working song service with a 4.7 Trustpilot rating from 186 reviews, 88% of them five-star, and buyers report receiving their songs. We read all ten reviews at three stars or below, and four of them covered downloading or paying extra for the MP3, which matches the pricing page. A $34.99 song leaves out the MP3, a separate add-on from $9, so a song you can keep costs $43.99. You create an account before you hear the sample. The terms name no company, give [email protected] as contact, and Trustpilot lists the United Kingdom. None of that makes it a bad service. It makes it a tool you operate, rather than a song written for you, and that suits some buyers well. For a side-by-side with a song written for you, see our GiftSong vs BeatJar comparison, and for another self-serve tool read the Songer review.
What customers say
These themes come from the ten 1-, 2- and 3-star Trustpilot reviews we read, paraphrased. Counts can overlap. The other 176 mostly praise speed and ease.
I paid for the song and then they wanted more money to download it, or the download was hard to complete (4 of the 10 we read).
At BeatJar: GiftSong's one-off song leaves out the MP3, which costs extra. With BeatJar you keep the MP3, with no second charge.
The lyrics skipped things that mattered, and fixing one word changed the entire track (2 of the 10).
At BeatJar: You read every lyric first and can change any line before we record the song. After delivery, revisions are free and unlimited.
A video or print add-on failed, or I paid and got only the sample, and support went quiet (2 of the 10).
At BeatJar: The song is the only thing BeatJar sells, and you pay after the preview. A real error in a delivered song earns a refund or remake within 48 hours of delivery.
I asked for a refund and did not get one (1 of the 10).
At BeatJar: Its terms say all sales are final, while the pricing page offers a free remake. BeatJar spells out refund or remake for real errors within 48 hours of delivery.
