What a song can say to your mom that a card cannot

A card has four lines and she reads it once. A song has three verses and a chorus with her name in it, and she plays it in the car, then for her sister, then on the days she needs it. The memories that go in are the ones only you have: the beehive nurse, the quad rides to watch the sunset, the year she raised you alone and never let you feel it.
