PrayerSong vs BeatJar: an honest comparison

Which should you pick, PrayerSong or BeatJar?

PrayerSong suits you if you want a Christian-first brand and can wait a week. BeatJar suits you if you want to read the lyrics and hear your song before paying. PrayerSong's checkout showed $49 on 18 October 2026, cut from $199, with delivery in 7 days as a link to play. A 24-hour rush costs $59 more. Our price starts at US$37.95. Lyrics appear word for word, and the first 45 seconds of your real song play before you pay. You may rewrite a line before we record the song, and the MP3 is included. PrayerSong adds a Worship genre, church use in writing, and 771 Trustpilot reviews at 4.9. Our side offers a Gospel genre and 4.9 from 1,050+ reviews. Choose by how soon you need the song and what you want to see first.

What the PrayerSong order looks like

A five-step survey comes first: who the song is for, a genre, what makes them special, favorite memories and a message. Genres run Pop, Country, Rock, R&B, Jazz, Worship and Rap / Hip-Hop. Checkout follows and ends at an email box. We stopped there and paid nothing.

That $59 on their homepage is the rush fee, not the song price. The checkout page plays songs made for other customers, and nothing shows your own lyrics or audio. After purchase the song reaches you as a link by email. The company says in a public Trustpilot reply that it supplies an MP3 on request at [email protected].

On its FAQ, PrayerSong says each song "typically reaches at least 3 separate team members (lyricist, producer, and quality control)".

The BeatJar order, step by step

BeatJar lets you read every lyric and hear the first 45 seconds of your song before you pay, from US$37.95. Type the story, including the faith in it, in your own words: a testimony, a prayer, a church memory. We write the lyrics from that story and show them word for word. The first 45 seconds of your song, with real vocals, play before you pay anything. A line you dislike can change before we record the song. Gospel sits among the genres on the order form. When it feels right, you pay, and the MP3 is included: download it, share it with family, play it at the service or the party. Checkout lets you pick the delivery window, with Express about an hour, and revisions stay free after delivery. 30,800+ songs have gone out this way, rated 4.9 on Trustpilot from 1,050+ reviews.

Where PrayerSong comes out ahead

PrayerSong is a Christian-first brand, and that shows. A Worship genre sits on its list that ours lacks. Their FAQ lets you play the song at "private events and church gatherings". Its homepage frames songs around prayer, healing and strength, and grief, testimony and encouragement appear as themes. A 30-day refund window beats our 48 hours for real errors. On Trustpilot it holds 771 reviews at 4.9, and 98% are five stars. Each song passes through a lyricist, a producer and quality control, by its own account. A track-order page lets you check progress. At $49 on sale it also sits above our US$37.95, so the price gap is small.

Five checks before you order from either

• Timing: PrayerSong delivers after payment, up to 7 days later. BeatJar plays the start of your song before payment.
• The file: PrayerSong sends a link, and the MP3 comes on request. We include the MP3.
• Gift date: terms on their site call delivery times "estimates only". The 24-hour rush costs $59 more and does not come back as a refund.
• Revision cost: their pages state no revision policy, and reviewers mention paid add-ons. Get the terms for your order in writing.
• Genre list: Worship belongs to PrayerSong, and Gospel to the BeatJar form. Pick the one that matches the music your family hears.
