Story, lyrics and the songThe verdict
Gift Your Melody sits in the middle of the market on price. The terms are the thing to read: revisions are capped and slow, and there is no preview.
What is good
- A clear, mid-range price of $49.95
- A solid Trustpilot rating
- A straightforward ordering process
- Multiple genres and voices
What surprises people
- No preview of your song before paying
- Revisions capped at two, up to 7 days each
- No refund after the song is delivered
- It is AI-based, not a human artist
Is Gift Your Melody legit?
Yes. Gift Your Melody delivers songs and holds a 4.8 Trustpilot rating from 859 reviews. It is a real service.
As with most of the category, the thing to know is not legitimacy but the fine print: you pay before hearing the song, revisions stop at two and each can take up to a week, and once the song is delivered there is no refund. Fair for the price, but worth going in knowing that a wrong line is a slow fix rather than an instant one.
What customers say
Gift Your Melody has 859 Trustpilot reviews at 4.8, and only 31 of the 855 we read were three stars or below, so these are recurring themes in a small group, not statistics. Their positive reviews praise the vocals and production, the tears, and a named support rep who walks revisions through.
Most common
Paid weeks ago, kept getting marketing emails, never got the song.
At BeatJar: the song exists before you pay. You have already heard it.
Most common
Asked for a faster tempo; the revision was a different song and the birthday theme had become a love song.
At BeatJar: a revision changes what you asked for and keeps the rest, and you approve it before paying.
A rep replied once to say it was processing, then nothing for over a week; four emails unanswered.
At BeatJar: a real person answers, and most reasons to write in are gone once you have heard it first.
The song used the wrong man's name and mentioned a child we do not have. Ordered rap, got slow pop.
At BeatJar: you read every line and hear the genre before paying. Nothing gets invented.
Paid the $10.95 rush fee, the song came at nearly 48 hours, and I was offered 20% off next time instead of the fee back.
At BeatJar: you choose the delivery window, and there is no fee to argue about.
It was cute, but clearly made by AI, and I had hoped a person was behind it.
At BeatJar: you hear your own song, with your names in it, before it costs anything.
